DPS firearms safety instructor, Navy Veteran, Training including range work done at CSR facility, Gunsight Training Center: 220 hours (handgun, alternative force handgun, edged weapons), Dynamic Combat method - 2 years training, in survival marshal arts incl. empty hand, alternative force handgun, alternative force edged weapons and stick fighting.

About Tom Hunt

Tom Hunt was first certified to teach NRA Hunter Safety in 1972. For close to 40 years he has instructed beginning shooters in the use of rifle, handgun, shotgun, muzzle-loader, and archery. An NRA life member since 1980, Tom continues to upgrade his teaching skills by attending workshops and local training events and is a multiple graduate of the prestigious Gunsite Academy. Tom has been an USPSA official, member of IDPA, Arizona Hunter Education Chief Instructor, National Bow hunter Association Instructor, and 4-H Shooting Sports Instructor and Coordinator. He is presently an AzDPS CCW Instructor, NRA Range Safety Officer, and NRA Pistol Instructor and Personal Protection in the Home Instructor.
